Well here we are folks, week 10.  God the season moves too fast.  Very interesting slate of games.  It will make for a very intriguing week for my picks.  Coming off an 11-3 week that might be tough to do again but here we go anyway….

Denver (4-4) at Cleveland (3-5)- Well the Brady Quinn era begins and it couldn’t have come against a better team.  Usually quaterbacks have issues in first start, but Denver is terrible on defense and in the last few weeks has been equally horrible on offense.  With corner play an issue in Denver could be a very long game for the broncos.  Winner- Cleveland.

Tennessee (8-0) at Chicago (5-3)-  If you like little offense and lots of defense this is the game for you.  If Kyle Orton does start that will be a huge advantage for a defense that loves the blitz.  If Rex Grossman starts also a  plus with his erracticness.  Tennessee is for real, they may not be pretty or what you’d like to see, but hey win games and that is all that is important.  Winner- Tennessee.

Baltimore (5-3) at Houston (3-5)-  Baltimore is getting its swagger back on defense, and the emergence of Ray Rice making thier offense more potent.  Houston has won some games but this defense is going to shut them and their back-up quaterback down.  Winner- Baltimore.

Jacksonville (3-5) at Detroit (0-8)-  Well i’m still holding out hope that Detroit will go winless, i don’t see this as a game they can win.  Jacksonville has some issues, mainly not running the ball all of the sudden.  But the bottom line is that Detroit is terrible , Daunte Culpepper is going to be the savior hard to believe that .  Winner- Jacksonville.

Buffalo (5-3) at New England (5-3)-  This is a tough one for me, we all know i’m a bills fan, but they have not looked good the last few weeks at all.  New England very tough to get a read on with erractic quarterback play but the defense has been solid.  Winner- New England.

New Orleans (4-4) at Atlanta (5-3)- Who would have imagine Atlanta leading this divison.  The saints have yet to win on the road this year.  Atlanta is a much better team and with a very good rushing attack and the saints are just terrible on defense.  Winner- Atlanta.

Seattle (2-6) at Miami (4-4)- No Matt Hasselback again and the long flight to Miami could spell doom for a team that has issues on both sides of the ball.  Miami on the other hand has a swagger, maybe Parcells is the man. From a team that won just one game and now has a legitimate shot at making a playoff run.  I think this will put them in a good position.  Winner- Miami.

Green Bay (4-4) at Minnesota (4-4)- Very interesting game for both teams.  Minnesota was a darling to win the NFC this year, but the defense hasn’t been as strong as they hoped for.  Green Bay has big issues stopping the run and winning in Minnesota. I’m looking for the Vikings to run the ball a lot, just as Tennessee did last week.  Winner- Minnesota.

St. Louis (2-6) at NY Jets (5-3)- Avery interesting game for sure.  Not sure what to think, Brett Favre is up and down, and the Rams have been playing very well.  Stephen Jackson should have a big game for the rams.  But i don’t see the rams being able to stop the Jets on offense.  Winner- NY Jets.

Carolina (6-2) at Oakland (2-6)-  Oakland is terrible, and are showing no signs of life at all.  Carolina is solid and will start to distance themselves from the pack in the NFC South.  Oakland is going to be the worst team in the league the record may not show it but they play does.  Winner- Carolina.

Indianapolis (4-4) at Pittsburgh (6-2)- If Big Ben can’t go this may be a tougher game, then it looks on paper.  Indy is starting to click on offense, and they won a big game on Sunday night at New England.  This game will really swing on health of Ben.  It looks like he may play , and with that defense they look very hard to beat at home.  Winner- Pittsburgh.

Kansas City (1-7) at San Diego (3-5)-  Well San Diego has been a terrible team.  Meanwhile the Chiefs have been getting better.  Thigpen may have a huge day against the leagues worst pass defense.  If this game were in Kansas City i’d probably like the chiefs to win.  Winner- San Diego.

NY Giants (7-1) at Philadelphia (5-3)- This is the game of the week if you ask me.  Philly is super tough at home and Brian Westbrook in the line-up and looking good this will make a tough match-up.  The Giants defense is looking better and better.  Winner- NY Giants.

San Francisco (2-6) at Arizona (5-3)- The niners are looking worse by the week.  Frank Gore hasn’t been the Marshall Faulk type back they looked for.  Arizona should have a field say against this terrible defense that the niners put out there.  Winner- Arizona.

Well there you have it, hopefully another very good week for everyone, see you on the review side on tuesday….
